Visiting Hours & Companion Guidelines
Dear patients and visitors, your cooperation is essential to ensure that your stay in the Hospital is safe. To achieve this, please note that visits to patients are allowed only during the designated visiting hours:
VISITING HOURS
Weekdays: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday – Public Holidays: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Useful Information
- A patient’s companion is considered to be the person who carries the special authorization form issued by the Ward Nurse-in-Charge.
- The patient’s diet is the responsibility of the Hospital and is determined according to their medical condition. Although well-intentioned, bringing food or sweets to patients may interfere with their treatment (e.g., blood sugar instability, postponement of scheduled tests) and may negatively affect the cleanliness and hygiene of the ward.
- Please use your mobile phones outside the ward areas.
- Placing objects on the ward windowsills is strictly prohibited due to the risk of accidents.
- Please turn off lights, water taps, and air-conditioning units when they are not needed.
- Please respect and take care of the ward equipment.
- If you choose to hire a Private Duty Nurse on your own initiative and without approval from the Nursing Directorate, responsibility for the patient’s care rests solely with you and not with the Hospital.
- In the event of an inspection by the competent Administrative authorities, you may be held liable for participation in undeclared work, with all associated legal consequences.
- If you are accompanied by a domestic helper, you must obtain the required authorization form from the Ward Nurse-in-Charge.
- In cooperation with the patient’s attending physician and the Secretariat, please ensure that all necessary documents for payment are settled before the patient is discharged from the Hospital.
- Do not leave personal belongings (money, jewellery, mobile phones, etc.) on the bedside table or in the wardrobe. Safekeeping of valuables is the responsibility of the patient and their relatives.
