Short Stay Unit (SSU)
In the Short Stay Unit (SSU), patients remain for only a few hours—just long enough to complete a necessary medical procedure or a period of monitoring. Care here is brief but essential, with emphasis on safety, precision and immediate support. Four beds are allocated to the Short Stay Unit (two for medical cases and two for surgical cases).
Responsibilities
- Carrying out medical procedures that do not require prolonged hospitalisation
- Serving cases from multiple medical specialties
- Providing safe and efficient short-term care under medical supervision
