Cardiology Department
The Cardiology Department consists of the Cardiology Clinic and the Cardiac Care Unit, providing high-quality inpatient care for cardiology patients. The Cardiology Department also offers patient consultations in the regular morning outpatient clinics as well as in scheduled afternoon clinics.
In recent years, the Cardiology Department has significantly upgraded its equipment, improving the level of services offered and enhancing its diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. Modern imaging systems have been installed and are fully operational, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses, while advanced monitoring devices reinforce the continuous assessment of patients’ vital functions.
This upgrade also includes improved emergency care capabilities, with the addition of portable devices that allow immediate diagnosis and intervention in high-priority cases. Furthermore, the clinic is now equipped with technology that supports safer and more effective patient management, especially for those requiring specialized cardiology care.
The equipment upgrades, combined with the continuous training of the medical and nursing staff, ensure high-quality medical care and strengthen Aigio Hospital’s ability to respond promptly and effectively to all cardiology cases.
They operate every morning and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED.
